Batteries are considered hazardous waste such as: alkaline batteries, lithium-ion batteries, nickel cadmium & zinc chloride batteries, rechargeable batteries, non-spillable lead acid batteries, and auto batteries (electric vehicle batteries are not currently accepted at this time).
