Components made of forged steel tend to have a smaller expansion coefficient, resulting in reduced deformation, improved wear resistance, and lower leakage rates, thus enhancing efficiency and longevity.

2. Main engines crafted from ball-milled cast iron:

In this material, carbon precipitates in the form of graphite. If the graphite appears in strips, the cast iron is termed gray cast iron; if in spherical form, it is known as ductile cast iron.

Ductile iron castings often develop small internal voids during processes like heat treatment or machining, attributed to high surface tension in the magnesium-containing iron, which hampers gas discharge. These voids can lead to detrimental defects if not carefully managed.

Additionally, the quality of compressor accessories—such as air filters, oil filters, oil-gas separation cores, and lubricating oil—significantly influences the overall price. When selecting a screw air compressor, it is vital not to solely prioritize low-cost options at the expense of quality.
